EPC: Leading the Charge in Hydrogen Solutions Founded in 2003 by John Cornish, Engineering PE, Procurement and Construction (EPC) has established itself as a leading engineering, procurement, and construction firm specializing in hydrogen systems. John, who holds a background in chemical engineering, brings over 35 years of experience from Ralph M. Parsons Company, an international engineering, procurement and construction firm based in Pasadena, California. His extensive expertise as a commissioning engineer, process engineer, and project manager has been instrumental in shaping EPC’s approach to hydrogen technology. John dedicated himself to understanding the complexities of hydrogen technology and recognized its potential as a clean energy source crucial for a sustainable future. “I kept getting promoted,” he recalls. “By the time I was in my early-50s, I was a regional vice president, managing 30 offices, and spending all my time looking at P&L statements and not having any fun. I really like to build things, so I decided I had one more career left in me and started EPC to follow in the business model of big engineering, procurement, and construction firms but to focus on exclusively hydrogen projects, which were all very tiny.” After forming the company in Colorado, John was THE CONSTRUCTION SOURCE AMERICA - WEST
