After 40 years of business, it is not shocking that this company has received nation- al recognition for its roofing solutions and now has two sister companies. This family-owned business was started by Tom Johns in 1976. Tom’s son and now president, Jackson Johns, made it clear that his father had a clear passion for roof- ing. The business began when Tom Johns and his friend, Pete, decided to start their own shingling business. Just a few months into starting National Roofing, they had already made money. They continued to shingle houses for about ten years.
